Apple, cinnemon and caramel cake method

Method 
Step 1 peel the apples and cop them into small cubes, or grate them if that’s easier for you, gently cook them in a pan until they are soft but have not lost form, then add the sugar, stir it in until its dissolved. Save a spoonful for the main cake mix
At the bottom of your cake tin place a perfectly cut piece of grease proof paper so it fits the bottom nicely, grease the sides of the tin, then squash your apple mix to the bottom of the tin. 
Step 2 the caky bit 
This is an easy one, once you have all your ingredients to hand to can just chuck them in your mixer all at the same time, any which way where, just be careful to start mixing slowly otherwise you’ll get covered in flour, when its all combined its done. Pour onto the apple base and cook
Cooking time 40 minutes, on temperature 180 oC 
Step 3 While the cake is baking make the sauce
As for  the caky bit use all the ingredients together at the same time but this time put them in a pan and melt them together on a medium heat. When they are all combined turn up the heat and let it boil for about 5 minutes constantly stirring, this will thicken the sauce. 
Step 4 
When the cake is ready take it out of the oven and leave to cool, but do not at this stage take out of the tin. When the tin is cool enough to touch you can turn it upside-down and then take it out of the tin, this should leave a glossy apple topping. Now drizzle the sauce over the cake . for decoration purposes I sprinkled pistachio on the top of it as well.
